This wine display’s a vibrant golden colour. Aromas of lemon curd, honeysuckle, oatmeal and toasted brioche emanate from the glass. The wine enters the palate with bold, ripe yellow citrus flavours leading to a creamy mid-palate with subtle vanilla, star anise and toasted almond. There is a continuous saline focus and feeling of freshness throughout. A wine of restrained power and finesse.

Food Pairing
Best served with grilled fish - roasted white meats or creamy white cheese.

The Estate
Tokara is well-known for the creation of premium wines such as the Tokara Reserve Collection Stellenbosch Chardonnay. As the soils on which the vines grow are constituted by oak leaves, pebbles and stones, the white wine receives its famous creamy finish.

Ageing
After the harvest, the Tokara Reserve Collection Stellenbosch Chardonnay matured in new and old oak barrels fo nine months through which the creamy finish was developed. Gourmets can enjoy the white wine right away, yet it can also spend some years in the cellar and will keep its unique character.
