Creating an account
You can create an account for yourself or your company on our website by clicking on the REGISTER button. 
When successful, an e-mail will be sent to you and you can start your shopping by logging into your account and adding your address and phone number.

All orders can be placed online on our website.

Payment for Products ordered through African Market Place Online can be made via CREDIT CARD or BANK DEPOSIT or PAYNOW
African Market Place may change at any time the method by which payments for African Market Place Online orders may be effected and such changes will be notified to the Customer via e-mail or by placing a notice to this effect on the African Market Place Internet site.

Product Prices are inclusive of 7% GST.

Variation/ Cancellation of Order
The Customer may vary or cancel the order up to the point in time that African Market Place has commenced processing the order and the Customer will not incur any cost in doing so.
Subject to the Customer's consent, African Market Place may substitute a Product for another similar Product if the initial Product ordered by the Customer is unavailable.
If there is no prior consent from the customer for a substitution, no substitution shall be made.

African Market Place will ensure that the prices, details and sizes of products detailed by African Market Place Online are correct but African Market Place reserves the right to vary the price and other details of the products without notice.
The prices at the African Market Place Online are for home delivery shopping only. Prices for some products may different from those charged at African Market Place shops. The price of certain products, in particular fresh produce, is subject to daily fluctuation and is offered for guidance only.
Not all products sizes will correspond exactly to the description offered online. African Market Place reserves the right to provide the nearest size of product at the nearest price.
Discrepancies between the on-line bill/order price and the final bill may be due to out-of-stock products, substitutions, special offers, daily price changes and weighed items. African Market Place reserves the right to adjust the final bill after the online bill/order price is presented or conveyed to the Customer and such adjustments shall be marked on the final bill presented to the Customer at the time of delivery.
In the event of different special offers or promotions being made available to the Customer simultaneously for the same Product, the Customer may elect one such offer or promotion per product but shall not be entitled to a combination of all such offers or promotions per product.
If the Customer requests a variation to the order which African Market Place accepts then the price payable for the order will be adjusted accordingly to reflect the variation and shall be recorded on the final bill presented to the Customer at the time of delivery.

Please take note that wine vintage may differ from what is advertised online. Kindly note that all Vintage listed are ROLLING VINTAGE, once sold out the previous vintage, we will deliver the next available vintage. Please email before CHECK OUT if you are particular with the ordered wines' vintage.

Property Risk
All risk in the Products shall pass to the Customer upon delivery to the Customer's delivery address but African Market Place shall retain title in the Products until such time as payment for the Products has been effected.

Returns of Products/ Refunds
Product pictures provided on this site are provided to help recognise products. Due to packaging redesign and improvements these may not reflect exactly as on the pack you receive. We take all reasonable care to ensure that all descriptions, details and prices of products appearing on the website are correct at the time when the information was inputted onto the system, the information appearing on this website at any time may not reflect the exact position at the moment you place an order.
African Market Place shall use its best efforts to ensure that orders are correctly fulfilled. Should there be any discrepancy, please notify us either by e-mail at or call African Market Place Online hotline at 6662 9294 by the next working day. 
Returns/Refunds can be arranged under the following circumstances:
African Market Place shall either replace or refund the Customer the value of that product for the following condition:
Product has been delivered in a damaged condition
Product is out of date
Product which was ordered and invoiced is not included in the delivery
Wrong Product is delivered
If any Product which was not included in the Customer's order is delivered to the Customer, African Market Place shall collect the Product from the Customer.
If the Customer has been charged for a Product that has not been delivered, African Market Place shall refund the Customer the value of the Product as originally charged to the Customer.
If a Customer is charged more than the value of a Product, African Market Place shall refund to the Customer the difference.
All refunds will be made via the same mode of payment on which the original purchase was made within 5 working days.
All replacements of Products shall be effected in the shortest time possible.

Return of Wine Products
Returns must be done within 30 days, starting from the date you purchased the wine or received your online delivery. You may return your wine for the following reasons:
The wine does not match the website specifications or description
You received the wrong wine in your package
You received breakage of wines in the process of delivering to you
You received undrinkable wine* (*subject to evaluation with our team of experts)
All wines returned should not be less than half bottle for our verification and with proof of purchase (order invoice number and receipt)
All conclusions by our experts are final and we do not entertain any dispute. We decline all responsibilities to other problems that can occur due to misuse or inappropriate handling and storage of the products.
A refund could also be issued in the case of a faulty wine but the wine itself will need to be returned and inspected. Please note a corked wine is a very rare occurrence (estimated to affect less than 1% of wine production). The term does not refer to cork floating in the wine itself, but rather a wine that has become contaminated with cork taint resulting in an undesirable smell or taste.

Any broken or damaged bottles are automatically non-refundable.
