Grape 
The vine of the Beyerskloof Pinotage was created at the beginning of the twentieth century from a cross between the two grape varieties Cinsaut and Pinot Noir. This red grape that is strong in character combines the sweet, berry Pinot Noir taste with the fruity spice of Cinsaut. It is not only popular amongst gourmets but also winemakers because this vine is considered to be highly robust. Nuances of mulberry, banana and tobacco are typical for this luscious variety.
