Groenekloof and Stellenbosch are the twin sources for this Rhône style red blend of Shiraz with 7% Mourvèdre and Viognier. Subtle perfumed notes of violets, black cherry and mulberry are followed by spicy flavours of black pepper and fennel. The silky, rich mid-palate is complemented with concentrated fruit and dense, silky tannins.

The Estate
One of the very first farms established in Stellenbosch in 1683, Arnoud Jansz settled on Spier Farm. Used as a working farm, Spier wine was first produced only in 1971 to great success. Multiple additions to the estate include the famed luxurious Spier Hotel, Moyo at Spier, museums, theatres, and more.
