nose, with subtle hints of fynbos. The palate offers blackcurrant leaf and a
touch of fresh elderflower and passion fruit, ending on a long and
structured mineral finish.

Food Pairing
Seared salmon or rainbow trout with fennel and lemon jus or steamed
mussel pot with creamy tarragon soup.

The Estate
One of the very first farms established in Stellenbosch in 1683, Arnoud Jansz settled on Spier Farm. Used as a working farm, Spier wine was first produced only in 1971 to great success. Multiple additions to the estate include the famed luxurious Spier Hotel, Moyo at Spier, museums, theatres, and more.
