Waterford Wine Estate has injected some Mediterranean boldness into the Pecan Stream Pebble Hill with the inclusion of Spanish and Italian cultivars. This red blend demonstrates fruit-driven scents of plums and cherries alongside cloves and leather spice on the enticing nose. The palate is equally seductive with ample dark red fruit flavours and a typical structure of tannins, culminating in a balanced acidity. Maturation occurred in fourth fill and older French oak barrels.
