The Backsberg Chardonnay appears full yellow in the glass. Fresh aromas of vanilla, butterscotch, coconut and pineapple rise into the nose. These flavours also develop on the palate together with the note of cashew. It leaves a creamy and soft impression in the mouth and convinces with a fresh sourness. The aftertaste is long and strong.
The wine goes perfectly well with pasta dishes like spaghetti with vegetables. It is excellently combinable with different salads and cold meat. Also seafood and fish taste delicious with this Chardonnay. Thai and Caribbean dishes also combine well.
