Babylonstoren Mourvèdre Rosé 2022

Rose Rocks Awards 2020: Gold

Dry, unwooded, medium-bodied rosé wine. Strawberries and rose petals on the nose. Strawberry yoghurt on the palate with candyfloss finish and fresh acidity for a delicious, lingering mouth-feel. This South African rosé may be baby pink in colour but it's packed with flavour. Made from 100 per cent mourvèdre grapes is ever so elegant, displaying delicate notes of rose petals, the lightest touch of raspberry and a lingering strawberry yoghurt finish. Fresh acidity zip through the lot, making this an excellent option to see you through summer. Super fresh, this is tasting fantastic right now.

You'll like this if you like Provence rosé but want a bit more fruit, juicier wines or summer holidays!
