Everybody in South Africa is familiar with peri-peri. You'll find it at absolutely any of South Africa's Portuguese dining restaurants. Peri-peri is the Swahili word for chili peppers. This grilled peri-peri chicken is a spicy dish with roots in old Portuguese colonized Africa, primarily in Angola and Mozambique when Portuguese settlers arrived and made their homes.

Commonly know as "Flatties" in South Africa these chickens are vacuum sealed and weigh APPROX 1 kgs. Perfect for braai's or roasting in the oven for 1 hour. Serves 2-3. Thaw completely and remove packaging before cooking.
