2014 Vintage 4* Platter’s SA Wines
2014 Vintage 90/100 Tim Atkins Report 2015 (UK)
The Mulderbosch Vineyards Steen Op Hout Chenin Blanc has won multiple awards. It is an eye-catching pale gold in colour with a dash of green. This Chenin is subtly floral in nature and carefully balanced. Ripe mango and pineapple greet the nose with a delicate addition of oak spice. Upon tasting, the wine comes across as refreshing and lively, with a chalkiness on the palate. Fresh peach and fragrant honeysuckle are also revealed next to a distinct saltiness that adds a surprising kink right at the end of each sip.
Pork Chops, Quiche, Savoury Soufflé
