You’d be hard pressed to find a more decorated Pinotage than the Diemersdal Pinotage with its long history of wine accolades and awards. Its highly expressive nose displays wonderful complexity with notes of oriental spices, vanilla, red fruit and rich dark chocolate. The heady aromas of exotic spices and chocolate follow through on the palate with elegant poise where they are welcomed by delicious roasted banana flavours.

Food Pairing
Showcasing a smooth texture and full-flavoured palate, the Diemersdal Pinotage pairs exceptionally well with rich oxtail stew or slow-roasted lamb shank.

The Estate
Diemersdal wines are the perfect expression of the distinct terroir of the Durbanville Wine Valley, one of the oldest wine regions in the Cape. The diverse soils and slopes provide the optimum conditions for making premium-quality wines with prominent varietal character. The dry land vineyards develop concentrated flavours, uniformly ripened by the cooling sea-breezes from the Atlantic Ocean.

This red wine strong in character can also mature in the cellar for a few years and will keep its intense fruity taste.
