The palate delivers a rich, full-fruit driven entry that showcases plush mulberry and red fruit flavours, complimented by an elegant oak frame composed of refined tannins. The wine shows an opulent length with a lingering finish that leaves a deliciously layered aftertaste of savoury fynbos and roasted coffee bean notes. The vineyards for this Merlot ranged in age from seven to 25 years old and were planted on a variety of soils. Rich red cherry plum and pronounced ripe mulberry flavours show on the palate. An elegant intimate style wine.
